The Marry-Ann occurrence is located at an elevation of approximately 600 metres near a northeast flowing tributary of Bronson Creek and approximately 2.9 kilometres south-southwest of the junction of Bronson Creek and the Iskut River.

The area is underlain by a sequence of folded and faulted andesitic volcanic and clastic sedimentary rock units of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. The sequences of clastic layered rocks consist of volcanic wackes, andesitic flows, and argillite interbeds. The sedimentary and volcanic rocks have been intruded by monzodioritic to gabbroic rocks of the Triassic to Jurassic Iskut River (Bronson) Stock.

Locally, the type of mineralization is not described but is likely similar to or related to the nearby Bronson Slope (MINFILE 104B 077) and/or CE-Contact (MINFILE 104B 563) occurrences.

In 2011, a chip sample (SP11-9-21-1) from a trench on the Marry-Ann zone assayed 5.03 grams per tonne gold, 398 grams per tonne silver, 3.42 per cent lead and 9.62 per cent zinc over 0.15 metre, while two chip samples (M972324 and M972325) from the nearby David Arthur zone assayed 2.02 and 2.85 grams per tonne gold, 195 and 76.8 grams per tonne silver, 1.30 and 0.67 per cent lead with 13.80 and 22.90 per cent zinc, respectively, over 0.20 metre each (Burgoyne, A.A. (2012-05-07): Technical Report on The Iskut Property with Special Reference to Johnny Flats & Burnie Trend Target).

Work History

The area has been explored in conjunction with the nearby Bronson Slope (MINFILE 104B 077) occurrence and a complete regional exploration history can be found there.

During 2009 through 2011, Skyline Gold Corp. completed programs of prospecting, geochemical (rock and soil) sampling, trenching, airborne and ground geophysical surveys and 23 diamond drill holes, totalling 5676 metres, on the area as the Iskut property.
